After having designed the world first positive displacement Supercharger kit back in 2005 when the Hilux was first released, Bullet Cars is proud to release the first Rotrex Supercharger system for the Toyota Hilux.

The Rotrex is the ONLY centrifugal Supercharger that is used as OEM factory fitment on a production car – the world record holder Koenigsegg CCX.

Developed and manufactured in house, the Toyota Hilux installation is an exciting OEM style kit that will transform your standard Hilux into a TRD destroying weapon!

Designed to suit an internally standard engine, the Intercooled Bullet Hilux kit reliably increases power to over 230 kws at the wheels! This is a gain of over 65% and is achieved with only 8psi of boost pressure. The power delivery from the Rotrex Supercharger is extremely smooth and feels like a factory installation. With unmatched boost response and Silent operation, the Rotrex is THE centrifugal supercharger to have. It really does turn the Hilux into an exciting well balanced sports truck!

Overview:
After having designed the world first Supercharger kit back in 2005 when the Hilux was first released, Bullet Cars has recently introduced the new TRD Intercooled M90 kit as an aftermarket option. Now you too can have a TRD Supercharged Hilux! The factory TRD Intercooled Supercharger is the basis of this new kit with Bullet modifications to simplify installation to any 4.0 litre V6 Hilux.

The substantial increase in Power and Torque is due to the positive displacement Eaton M90 supercharger that gives you Maximum boost from “off idle” all the way to the redline. This makes it perfect for towing or four wheel driving when you need low down torque. With just 7psi of pressure, power gains of over 45% can be safely achieved on an internally stock engine.
Whether you are out in the hot desert exploring or working the vehicle hard in low range on a sandy beach, the high efficiency Water to Air Intercooler located internally within the manifold stabilises air intake temperatures to deliver safe, consistent power across a broad range of temperatures.

Fuel Economy remains the same (if not better) on average due to the increased torque available from the engine, with returns of under 12 litres per 100km easily achievable. More power is developed down lower in the engine rev range meaning the engine does not have to rev as hard to produce the same level of power. This is most noticeable when towing up a hill – the gearbox does not have to downshift as often as more torque is available through the mid range.

Overview:
With over 14 years of supercharging Toyota vehicles, Bullet Cars has turned their attention to the recently released factory Supercharged TRD Hilux. After numerous calls from owners wanting more, Bullet has released the only upgrade package on the market. Consisting of exhaust, ECU and boost pulley, this kit is for the owner who is looking to turn their TRD Hilux into a real sports truck.

The standard Toyota factory headers are very restrictive and a good increase in power and torque can be achieved with the Bullet Ultimate Exhaust system. These exhausts have been thoroughly tested for engine light problems and utilise the latest in C.T.B (Ceramic Thermal Barrier) coatings to minimise under hood temperature. From the laser cut flange plates to the chrome tip, the entire system is fully mandrel bent utilising all the factory mounting points on the vehicle. This means that there are No chassis modifications needed to fit the exhaust to the vehicle.

Increasing the exhaust size to a high flowing 2/3/4 Inch system, with no noticeable increase in interior sound levels whilst idling and cruising, the Bullet exhaust gives a wonderful V6 note under full acceleration.

The kit also includes the Bullet XEDE processor with 2 bar map sensor that allows precise tuning of the factory engine management. This also allows the fitment of the dash mounted switch to run dual fuel maps for both 98 octane and 91 octane. Fuel economy can also be drastically improved as these vehicles run extremely rich from factory.
Made from Steel and precisely CNC machined for a perfect press fit, the smaller pulley will be needed to return boost to the factory level of 7 psi once a free flowing exhaust system with extractors has been fitted.

Gains of over 40 kws at the wheels (50+kws at the engine) are easily and safely obtained.
