Bullet Roadster225kw - 365nm (302hp - 269ft/lb) After an investment of 3 years and three million dollars our first A.D.R. (Australian Design Rules) Approved Bullet Roadster, rolled out of the Queensland facility on December 2nd 2002 to roaring applause from those dedicated individuals who against all odds and predictions had succeeded where numerous others had failed. The first and currently the only fully A.D.R. approved V8 Roadster to be built in Australia. You can imagine how proud we were on that prestigious day, and how proud you will be owning a piece of Australian automotive history. Your eyes initially are drawn to her sensual and provocative curves, as the composite bonnet silently tilts forward. You smile in anticipation at the sight of the all alloy, quad cam 32 valve V8. Your imagination is racing now, knowing that this is obviously one very serious and capable sports car. The hand stitched leather interior is as comfortable and snug as it looks and the MoMo short shift gear stick feels slick and precise. Start the engine and you are instantly in heaven serenaded by that audacious V8 rumble. This is no normal gruff and rough V8 rocking you from side to side, this is smooth, turbine smooth with 225 kilowatts in a 1180 kilogram svelte body just waiting to be unleashed. Through her torsionally rigid space frame chassis, the Roadster is complemented by fully adjustable coil-over suspension, sitting on ROH 17x8 alloys front, shod with 215/40 and 17x9 rears with 255/40. Impressed? Wait till you drive her. She's as precise as a swiss watch, and purrs like a pussy cat, but nail her in any gear and it's like kicking a sleeping lion. |
